Since our start in 2023, we have grown immensely and quickly. Having over 50 regularly attending members, we began to look at the best ways we could enhance our book club experience.

Beginning in May 2024, we will offer exclusive perks for our members who choose to pay dues. For $30 a year, dues paying members will receive a unique experience to Memphis Girls Book Club. With this small fee, we can help maintain our site, meetings, partnerships and more. This is an optional opportunity and not required to attend meetings.

Memberships are currently CLOSED for 2025. We will reopen memberships in January for 2026 until March 1. 

Yes, you can still come to meetings!

As president, Megan welcomes all women to our book club meetings. While we offer exclusive member experiences, all women are invited to join our non-exclusive meetings. Yes, this means ALL meetings except TWO are open to anybody. Membership perks are optional, ensuring inclusivity and diversity in our community. Join us for engaging discussions and a shared love for reading!

What do I get as a paying member of Memphis Girls Book Club?

Our admin board surveyed our club and we found that 61% of our members are willing to budget $30 a year to help fund catered meetings, author events, reading retreats, formal meeting spaces, philanthropy and exclusive merchandise.

For 2025, dues paying members will receive throughout the year:

  • Access to exclusive author events

  • An exclusive merchandise item

  • Semi-annual catered events

  • Monthly newsletter from the President​
